Chris Smith
Executive DIRECTOR

I have been a part of Wilderness Trails since 1992 and been involved from its beginning in 1967 when my father came on staff. My wife and our three children have all helped at one time or another. It is our privilege to share God's love and the beauty of His creation to hurting and at risk youth in Southern Oregon through this camping ministry.

I started volunteering at Wilderness Trails in 2004. The time I've spent up at camp, along with the relationships I have built there, have helped shape who I am today. I love the new adventures and memories that are built at camp and I am grateful for the opportunity to share the gospel with youth in Southern Oregon.

Boys Program Director

My first experience with Wilderness Trails was when I was just a few months old. At the time my Dad was the Director of Wilderness Trails and the camp was in need of a care taker as well, so my family moved up the hill until a new caretaker was able to step in. Over the past three years I have worked as the Community Life Coordinator at Little Country Church in Redding, Ca. Camp ministry is a huge passion of mine, and I am so excited to know that God is going to let me be a part of what He is already doing at Wilderness Trails.
