I have been a part of Wilderness Trails since 1992 and been involved from its beginning in 1967 when my father came on staff. My wife and our three children have all helped at one time or another. It is our privilege to share God's love and the beauty of His creation to hurting and at risk youth in Southern Oregon through this camping ministry.

I started volunteering at Wilderness Trails in 2004. The time I've spent up at camp, along with the relationships I have built there, have helped shape who I am today. I love the new adventures and memories that are built at camp and I am grateful for the opportunity to share the gospel with youth in Southern Oregon. 

Jonathan Allaire     
Boys’ program DIRECTOR

I was born in Williams, Oregon and grew up in the Rogue Valley attending New Hope Christian School.  I attended Southern Oregon University where I earned my degree in Outdoor Adventure Leadership.  I have worked as a rafting guide, been a snowboard instructor, and a youth correctional officer.  I am an avid outdoorsman, and a follower of Jesus!  I am here to serve Him as the Boy's Program Director, and I greatly look forward to what He will do!!

Girls’ Program Director

I am a Ruch, Oregon native who grew up loving the outdoors and all the adventures that come with it. Whether I'm rock climbing, trail running, hiking, or rafting, I love being outside and sharing that excitement with others. I am a Wilderness First Responder and have spent over a decade caring for foster siblings and respite children.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Girls' Program Director and love seeing all God is doing through Wilderness Trails. At the end of the day, my favorite way to describe what I do is simple: I play outside and talk about Jesus.

We are a Christian couple who love the Lord and are committed to serving Him at Wilderness Trails. We are passionate about sharing God's Word with youth and helping them discover a relationship with Jesus Christ. Having served here for over a year, we have loved every second of being part of what God is doing through this ministry.
